Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Oh so lovely

During my visit to Lower Hutt New Zealand, I spent an hour walking some of the streets around the area where I was staying. This particular home and stunning garden begged to be photographed.

What a riot of lovely color and beautiful flowers. I was rather hoping the gardener would come outside, so I could have a wee chat with them.

If I had a garden that looked that good I'd have a hard time going to work. Looks like you had loads of fun Jennifer.

Don't they have the absolute loveliest gardens? Funny thing, when I stayed there, I wasn't as into gardening as I am now. All that beauty, and I didn't appreciate it enough.

Hope your trip is going well.

Hi Jennifer~~ Glad you're home safe and sound and hope your trip was as fabulous as this garden is. It is too bad the caretaker wasn't to be seen. Think of the conversations you could have!!
