Variety at last

Gone are the times of just yellow and blue, or the colors of spring bulbs, now I have many colors, some of them new to the garden this summer.

I found this lovely hardy geranium at a home garden sale.

I can hardly believe my eyes everytime I look at the hydrangea. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to see so many blooms at one time.

The Monarda, planted last fall, is putting on quite a show for me.

Finally, I have nasturtiums in a grow bag, hanging from the fence in my vegetable garden. The vibrant colors of the blooms draw your eye so you have to go and take a closer look at all the gorgeous colors.

Shasta daisies are also new to my garden. A good old hardy standby to brighten a corner of the garden.

Yarrow, another newbie to the garden this year, and I must say, I am delighted with the color of this plant.

Lambs ear, which has been gracing the garden for three years now.

I didn't notice until I viewed the photos, that I had captured a picture of a bee zooming in to gather nectar from the flower. It is always a bonus when you manage to get photos like this one.

Your variety of flowers is incredible. We're into the season were it is just too hot and humid to do anything outside.

Great pics as always! Love your salmon Yarrow color especially. The Shasta Daisies always make me smile. Now, what is a grow bag? Is it like a topsy-turvy? I'm intrigued. Have a beautiful day! Bonnie

That is a great shot of the bee, and I would have an arrow pointing at that hydrangea if I were you!
