May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Un-named Irises

This one I bought at a garden club sale.

This one was given to my by a friend.

It really does not matter one little bit, that I do not know the names of the two Irises, as they are just as beautiful whether named or not.

So beautiful! I have some yellow Irises too and I don't know the name either. The ones I have look similiar to yours. -Jackie

I like the colors of both and the ruffles of the first one. I guess I'm too much of an organizer--the few plants in the garden that I don't know the names of drive me to distraction.

I hardly know the names of any of my iris. I'm glad I'm not alone in that! That first iris is especially beautiful to me. I love the soft coloring.

Hi Jennifer~~ A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Your iris are lovely.

Hi KeeWee, I am hopeless at remembering plant names so any plants that have been given to me by friends are called by the donors name, ie: Flor's (Florence) Lilies

They are both beautiful, and being given to you by a friend is more important than their name. I have an unnamed iris from my sister, so I'm just naming it after her.

I don't know the names of a lot of my flowers. They are just as pretty.I name them after the person who gave them to me....Maggie's mums for instance.
