Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

I am not complaining

After around 28 days without any rain, the clouds released their much needed moisture upon us. It smelled and looked so fresh and clean this morning as I opened the door to look out.

There is nothing like the garden after a rain, fresh clean, and so fun to photograph. Everything looks great, we have also been without rain for over a month. Seriously, around here that is unheard of.

Going to rain tonight.

What lovely rain-fresh blossoms, an assortment of flowers I can't grow here in the high desert. Enjoy that clean, moist air....

Isn't this rain wonderful? It started pouring here this evening and I can practically see the flowers standing taller already. Strange to actually want rain here, but it sure was needed.
Your flowers look very happy.

I love all the white flower pictures. I am just planting a number of white flowers together in a perennial bed and trying to make sure I get the right contrast and learn how to photograph white well.
