Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Holy Mole!

This little gem of an Amaryllis has been sleeping in the basement during the winter, until it was brought upstairs on the 15th of March, re-potted and watered. I can hardly believe my eyes on how fast it is growing.

I love it when I can capture the rapid growth of a plant. It's amazing how quickly they can grow. You can almost watch it growing. Can't wait to see it in bloom.

Wow, that is great! I have one potted up now too, but it hasn't shown the growth spurt like yours! Not yet, anyway.

I'd say you have one happy amaryllis there.

I hope that baby will give you some blooms! I think it is cool to watch those leaves shoot up! I had one that sent up a bunch of leaves but no blooms this year. Maybe I needed to do something special to it?! Happy spring to you;-)
