Yesterday was a day of wind, rain, and 'lo and behold' a little sunshine. As soon as the sun came out, I grabbed up my packets of seed, a box of vegetable fertilizer, the gardening tools and prepared myself to get the job done.I managed to get the seeds planted, did a little more cleanup, put all the tools away and went indoors for a nice hot cup of tea, when the skies opened, and down came the rain. Thank you Mother Nature for granting me a small window of clear weather, to get my chores done.

I know you enjoyed being outside even if the time was limited....Mother Nature will soon come around to a more pleasant attitude.
It's nice to get those little windows of opportunity. I took one yesterday too and got some cleanup done. It feels great, doesn't it? Here's hoping for some wider windows.
That must have felt so good. The sun and the garden tools - well they go hand in hand. Hopefully soon you'll have lots of days to get in the garden.
It's so good to get out there! I'm getting a small allotment this year, so look forward to lots of veg, herb and fruit gardening!
