Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Visitors

Two Flickers visiting the feeding station.
The one on the suet was rather nervous as it could see my camera just peeping through the curtains, but was not sure to stay or flee.

I'm glad it didn't fly away before you got our shot of them!

It is funny how some birds are skittish and fly away at the slightest noise or movement and others are so brave and stay close by while I fill the feeders.

Oh, you are spoiling them, Jennifer! I see three different meals on the table!

It looks like you have quite the feast for the lucky birds!

I love seeing those big Flickers. I haven't seen too many around this winter, they must like your suet better :)
