Little works of art
Mother nature blessed us with rainbow colors throughout the summer months, and has left us with lovely little pieces of garden art for the fall.

She was rather down on Autumn, wasn't she? But she does have some beautiful quotes.
Everytime I see the nigella, I kick myself for not searching harder this spring for seeds. Believe me, I won't make the same mistake twice.

I love the way you picked something that other people would consider dead, or ugly and photographed it in a way to show off the beauty of nature. I love the fall and putting things to rest in my garden, hoping to see some of the bulbs I stick in the ground, maybe they will grow.

That first one would make a great Sci-Fi movie wouldn't it? A little creature could come out of the pod. Look how the pod is protected. It amazes me what nature can do in birth and death.

Funny, but I feel sad during autumn, and really am still, right now, not in the 'fall mode'. It does feel like death to me. I want to keep in mind that it's the circle of life, and spring will again come, but it makes me feel so sad to see the warmth and bright colors of summer leaving my world. It's a good thing we have all of these blogs to look at or I might go nuts! Anyway, I DO love your photos of the plants as they are dying and their lives are ending. They are beautiful, and I too, like to see them. I guess it's a double-edged sword. There is beauty in death. The trick is in our 'attitude' about it. Well, now that I've just written this epistle, I'm already starting to feel more positive!
