And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Harvest Monday

I almost missed Harvest Monday, oh!well better late than never.

This afternoon I dug up the Russian Fingerling potatoes. They look more like arthritic fingers and one crooked elbow *chuckle* But they sure did taste good, roasted with a few onions, beets and carrots all from the garden.
I did have some green beans sitting on the stove in a saucepan, all ready to cook, but was distracted when a friend stopped by and the roasted veggies were done before I realized I had not cooked the beans. No worries, we will eat them tomorrow.

Go on over to Daphne's Dandelions and check out her harvest, and while you are there you can link to other folk's harvests.

Arthritic fingers---indeed. I'm at that stage in my life. We had potatoes tonight with chili on top. I can tell the difference from fresh out of the ground and store bought. Not the same. Your look yummy.

they look yummy. I plan to do some potatoes and onions next spring. I put in lots of garlic this fall.

Hi Jennifer~~ Your potatoes look so clean, hardly like the just came out of the ground. I can imagine how delicious they tasted, roasted with other veggies from your garden. You've definitely got a green thumb!

Nice looking potatoes. And at least you're one step ahead of me. I often forget to put the beans on. Sometimes I end up holding dinner because they are still in the fridge.

They do look weird, definitely not for peeling or you could end up with arthritic fingers!

I bet they taste good, even if they look strange. Homegrown potatoes just can't be beat.
enjoy!
