May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

The tallest I have ever grown.

First gladioli of the season.
I find these gorgeous flowers are very easy to grow here. I don't bother to lift them in the fall, and so far they have come back for three years in a row.

5 foot high and still growing.
I will measure it again when the topmost flower blooms.

I love the colour of your Galdioli, I don't think ours will ever grow that tall!I have done a post on my blog ,trying to trace a pen friend I had many years ago in New Zealand. You might have a scoot over and see does it ring any bells with you or you may know some NZ bloggers?

Very hardy for sure........I even get tired of them from time to time in my gardens.

KeeWee,

Beautiful color, glad to see someone grows these and gets good returns. We have had babies everywhere for years, got one bloom this year.

How pretty! I wonder why I've never tried growing these, especially if you don't have to dig them up here. I may have to find a spot to try some.

My favorite color! It's lovely. So nice you can just leave the bulbs too and not have to dig them up. Makes having glads a lot easier.

This Galdioli will look very nice in a vase. The cut flowers are usually available at the florises during the New Year season and I like the pink, red and white blooms.

I love the color of your glad. I forgot to tell you I ended up just mulching with some alfalfa instead of making tea with it. I hope yours turns out good.
