Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Skywatch Friday

Wednesday evening 8:15 pm, and I couldn't get outside fast enough, to snap these pictures of the most glorious color and formations. The setting sun painted the most beautiful shades of pink on the wind blown clouds.

What an awesome sight from our deck.

Go and check out more Skywatch images at the Skywatch Site

Amazing sky. It looks like you live near the Puget Sound? I spend a lot of time up in Anacortes. I love it there. The skies are far more interesting than they are here in northern Cal. Hi from San Ramon. Enjoy the skies...

These photos are beautiful. I think I've seen just about every color imaginable in the sky, even green. But these soft pink and peach shades are terrific.

Beautiful KeeWee. We have so many tall trees here but if I look straight up I get to see some sky. Sure miss sunrises and sunsets though.

Here in San Diego we have a point (Point Loma) that juts out into the water very similar to the one in your first photo. But we don't often get clouds and colors like you've shown in your photos--Beatiful. Dusk is my favorite time of day.
