I was wanting to buy some golden beet starts from the garden center, but they were out, so I decided to look around and see what new flowers were in. I was delighted to find a primrose and primulas I do not have.
Primula denticulata.
Whenever I buy any plants I look very carefully to see how many are in each pot, as often times you will find two plants to a pot. Today was one of those days, each pot held two plants, so I was happy to pay $3.99 for two plants.

I just had to buy this one, also with two plants in the pot. I can hardly wait to see the blooms of this one.
I love my friends. I came home the other day, to find this pot of hellebores sitting on the driveway next to the garden. I called my friend to thank her, and she told me there will be more, when they are dug up later in the month. Whoo Hoo!!
Well I am off outside to plant my primrose and primulas.

Now that's what I call great friends!
Those primulas are beautiful, I have not seen those yet, only primroses.
Hope one will jump into my cart at the garden center next time.
Those are so nice and colorful. I've seen those Chinese Pagoda Primroses in catalogs and always thought I'd like to have some. What a nice friend you have. Oh happy day is right! ;-)
How funny! My sister gave me some baby hellebores. It even survived the plane trip back to Texas.
You have some very pretty plants there.
Keewee, those are the primulas I've been wanting...lucky you!! And what a great neighbor you have that is sharing her hellebores :)
Lucky you indeed! Great primula choice and free hellebores!
I love those primulas! I end up buying some every spring too! That was nice of your friend to give you those hellebores. Today a friend of mine gave me woodland phlox. so fun!
Beautiful colors on those new acquisitions. I too have a garden buddy friend like yours who is always giving me her extras as I give her mine. So fun.
Lucky you! I love those primulas!
Never heard of the chinese primulas...look good too....

It is only recently that helebores have come to my notice.
They are lovely.

Oh, if only I had a generous friend with extra hellebores! You lucky girl, you!
Those primulas are gorgeous! I love them dearly but haven't found any here lately. My mum grew them in Australia (among many other plants) which is why I have a particular fondness for them. You've been getting lots done in your garden I see. Good for you!
Happy Easter!
