Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

I happen to be rather fond of the pretty faces of pansies. Here a few which are blooming right now.

Quote of the day

I think the true gardener is a lover of his flowers, not a critic of them. I think the true gardener is the reverent servant of Nature, not her truculent, wife-beating master. I think the true gardener, the older he grows, should more and more develop a humble, grateful and uncertain spirit.
~Reginald Farrer, In a Yorkshire Garden, 1909

Wonderful KeeWee - the pansies and the quote. Do the pansies come back or are they annuals? Or are they annuals that reseed? They are sooooooo pretty. I agree sweet little faces!

They are pretty. Every year I plan on growing them from seed and so far I keep forgetting to get them started early enough.

I just love pansies! Mine have been doing great all winter even with all that snow. I like your sign on the sidebar :)

They are such cutie-pies. And they smell as sweet as they look. Nice collage, KeeWee.
