May the calm be widespread May the sea glisten like the greenstone And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

THE GOLDFINCH FAMILY
The Goldfinch youngsters and parents have been visiting the feeders in droves. I love to watch the impatient juveniles, flutter their wings and chirp until one of the parents feeds the rowdy youngster.
Male Goldfinches are so beautiful in the summer with their bright yellow feathers. Just not right that the males are the prettiest LOL! Oh, those rascal squirrels. They found my feeders this winter but they were starving. Thus far they have stayed away this summer. Maybe because of the stray cats around so much. Beautiful pictures Jennifer.
