Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

I've been seeing an extraordinary number of mushrooms and fungus around. The slime mold though... ugh, guh, ouch... the spores have been hampering my outdoor pursuits because I find myself sneezing my face off. Like clear off.

But those are pretty mushrooms!!!

I'm peeking around for the fairies to run out from under the toadstools. What a great vantage point of them and the grass.

Such cute little mushrooms. I almost expect to see fairies dancing under them. I love that on-your-belly-in-the-wet-grass angle.

Like Tina and Alison, I always feel like there should be some sort of miniature human-like creature spotted around these types of mushrooms. Like they are the giants of a miniature world. Great photo!

So funny that Tina, Alison and Grace all mentioned fairies because they were the first thing I thought of when I looked at your picture!

Fungi are always interesting - and this kind a delight to see.
