Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

They are just fabulous. I especially like the photos where they are doing their hovering thing.( none of those in NZ - as you know, so a novelty for me to see )

I'm sooooo envious!!!!! How on earth do you manage to get such great shots?? are they pets???!!! I absolutely love your pictures!
I have a bunch here that visit the garden & the feeders but I don't see myself ever getting pictures like yours. They usually startle me by buzzing by my head before I realize they're not a giant bug.

Oooh I'm jealous. Do you use feeders at all to encourage hummers in your garden? I found some hummers feeding from some of my delphiniums a couple of years ago. I've added even more plants that are meant to attract hummingbirds, but since then nothing.
