May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

I can rely on

a couple of things happening in January.

I can rely on my Helebores to start blooming.

There are also the rabbits who come for their morning scoop of cracked corn and a couple of slices of stale bread.

I love those hellebores, and am hoping mine bloom when they are supposed to. Right now, they are covered with snow.

I hope to not see rabbits in my yard any time soon, but have seen some tracks in the snow.

Happy New Year!

Oh, hellebores! Lovely plants...mine won't be blooming until April here, but thankfully I can enjoy others blooms now and in the coming weeks. Happy New Year to you!

I'll have to keep an eye on my hellebores. I think they'll show themselves much later than January though.

Your hellebore's are so pretty. I wish mine were big enough to bloom. With all of those cute bunnies I am glad you have a tall fence around your veggies in the summer :-)

Beautiful Hellebores! I hope to see mine blooming soon, and I hope I'll never see those grey cute things in my garden.

I haven't been out to see if the hellebores are doing anything. It is too cold. Your bunnies are so healthy looking. I have seen a couple around in the summer. They hang out where the daylilies grow.

Wow! Something blooming...I can't imagine! There is not a speck of green anywhere in site around here lately. But we did have sunshine today and they temp actually reached up into the 50's!! So maybe this snow will disappear soon.
