Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

It looks great! Good idea for those stumps that are too difficult to remove.

Cool! Good blog! I'll mention it in my next blogpost and it'll turn up on my new blogroll.

Hi Jennifer~~ I LOVE this. I've been wanting to do something similar but I need a cool looking piece of wood first. I saw one the other day while hiking in an arboretum but hubby was insistent that I leave it. Pure torture! [I might have to go back. Don't tell him.] Maybe I'll copy your photo for my "inspiration" file. You've got talent, girl!
