Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

By golly I have gourds

One is about the size of a baseball, and the other a little bit smaller. There are some which are about the size of a golf ball. I hope there is still enough warm weather, so at least the two larger gourds will mature.

I bet they'll mature no problem. You can even leave them outside in frosts too and they will not be harmed. I usually don't even harvest mine until the vine is dead and gone. Have fun.

They look good! I wish I had planted a few this year. I would love to have made a birdhouse or two from them.

If you have lots of small ones, I wonder if taking a few off will cause the others to mature faster.

That's great! I've always wanted to try growing them. Will you turn them into birdhouses?
