Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Sometimes I don't have the energy

The last few days I have been feeling so out of steam, and it has been a real effort to post on my blog. I think I have plain been over doing it, and all my activity has caught up with me. Not only that, yesterday I somehow hurt my lower back and am now feeling quite uncomfortable. I think I did it when I was picking up some of the cut up logs from the tree which was felled on Sunday. I possibly bent down picked up a small log and twisted the wrong way. Doesn't really matter how I did it, it hurts like blazes and I am berating myself for being so careless.
Tonight I asked myself, "what on earth can I blog about, surely I have a draft of something, saved?"

Sure enough, I had this photo and the beginning of a post saved. So here you have it.
The double Daffodil is Texas and the others are Tazetta Geranium.

Aw feel better Keewee. It's hard not to get caught up in the spring frenzy. Try and take it easy and enjoy for a few days. Weeds are easier to yank when they are bigger. : )

I hope you feel better soon. There's so much to do this time of year that it is easy to feel overwhelmed. I know I do right now too. I'm sending good vibes your way! :) --Jackie

Hope you get better soon and out of the blues. I understand. My life has been crazy lately cause of all the gardening chores.

Oh KeeWee, I sense a heating pad in your future. I hope the pain lets up soon and that you're able to rest and relax. I know what a pain back pain is. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Usually I don't even know what caused the pain until later--a cruel twist. If you need a (virtual) shoulder to cry on, your garden blogging buddies are here for you. The 'Geranium' daffs are my absolute favorite. :)

I hope your back is feeling better. This time of year it's so easy to over do it.
Your daffodils are beautiful!

Hi Keewee, we all take our backs so much for granted and forget how easy it is to put them out of kilter. I hope you are feeling better soon. I can imagine all the plans for the new garden area and especially with a new view!

Hope you feel better soon, I too did that to my back last year but after a week it felt better. The daffodils are pretty. Take it easy.

I hope that you are feeling better today. It's so hard to do gardening without overdoing or doing things we probably shouldn't. We always think...jut one more thing....and one more thing can do us in. Take care for a while...Smell the posies.
