I has, up until today, been a very wet dreary winter, and I just haven't been interested in blogging, which seems to happen to many of us. There is not a whole lot going on in our gardens, and if we have not had any snow to take pictures of, then there isn't really much to show or tell about.
As I said, today was different, the sun came out and the temperature was in the mid 50's a perfect day to get out and start cleaning up my vegetable garden.
I pulled weeds, trimmed the ornamental grasses in the flower pots, and began the task of turning over the soil in the raised beds. This year they are going to get plenty of rich compost and manure, but I have not decided which to use, steer or chicken manure.
There are many weeds growing in the gravel surrounding the raised beds, so I will be busy getting them pulled before they take over.
I was a lovely day outdoors, and I feel the stirring of Spring fever. Bring it on, I am ready to start planting.

Hi Jennifer!
Yes, you've been missed!
I also did some gardening lately. Mostly weeding, dividing and moving plants around. Have a great week!
It's coming, spring, that is!
Happy to see you back, I've been feeling the same. We had a beautiful day today and though I had to work, Hubbie got out and did a lot of clean up.
I think we are all happy that spring is upon us :)
Blogging seems to take on the rhythm of the garden, at times...waxing and waning, activity and sleep, etc. It's been true for me,too. Glad you can get out and hope you can enjoy yourself even if it is just doing clean up :) We are getting snow today...finally!! We went all winter with none...now, a blizzard is supposedly upon us. I don't mind, as I have missed the snow, being a transplanted northerner ;)
Another beautiful day. I spent it in the garden an now my whole body aches. :)
