Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

We need a break, so.....

the garden will just have to keep on growing without any sweet talking from me.

Our weather has been about 10 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year, with a lot of rain, so I am not going to bother hooking up the irrigation to the timers.

We will be away for just four days, and as there is more rain in the forecast  I am not at all concerned about the garden drying out.

I hope the rabbit will do a good job of keeping the grass down *grin*

Plants will survive and they should be anxious of your return, for another round of sweet talking...

Hi Jennifer, I hope you had a good time. I don't worry so much about my plants drying out. I worry about all the slugs that come out (when it's so damp)and eat them. :)
