Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Hellebores will soon be blooming

I have had a busy week and haven't really been in the mood for a whole lot of blogging. I know I am not the only blogger who sometimes feels it is a chore to get any blogging done.

Wandered around the yard today, and found a few of my Hellebores are in bud.

Primroses are such hardy little plants and keep on blooming in the coldest of weather.

One lonely little primrose on a slug chewed plant.

I can't wait to see Hellebores here, the kind I have won't bloom for at least a couple of months though. I've had one little Primrose blooming almost all year.

I feel such a great freedom since I put my second blog on hold indefinitly! It makes the Mistaya blog a lot more fun to do.
Your little blossoms are so pretty and what a pretty surprise for this time year.
Hugs, Gail

When blogging begins to feel like a chore it's time for a break...nice winter flowers.

I would love to grow primrose. Like hostas, (here in Central Texas) if you plant them they will come: snails.

Hi Jennifer, I've noticed a few buds on my hellebore too! This means spring can't be far off, right?

Blogging and blog reading, although infinitely enjoyable must sometimes go to the back burner. I think we're all in the same boat.

How exciting! Those buds are almost as lovely as the blooms!
