Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Sky Watch Friday

When I took this photo and looked at it, the line about the corn being 'high as an elephant's eye' from the musical Oklahoma, popped into my mind.

Looks like they're having a race toward the sky...which one will reach it first?!

Nice blue sky, Jennifer. I've been buying corn from the local farmers. I think our hot weather has helped with what seems like a tastier than normal crop this year.No need for butter or salt. I'm craving it now. :]

you'll have to show a shot of the corn when ready to harvest - with sky that blue won't be long!
