Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

March 22nd

The day is cool and windy 50F But it did not stop me from taking pictures to record the progress in my garden.

Lovely full buds on the Tulips

These two primroses were planted last season and appear to be happy in their location.

Purple/yellow Pansys brightening up a corner in the Blue/Purple & yellow garden

The Hydrangea I moved last season, and was concerned about it surviving the move, has settled in nicely.

I wonder how long the Hyacinths are going to bloom. Aren't they gorgeous?

These Daffodils are new to the garden this season. I love the bright orange and yellow centers.

Hostas in the Blue pot have put on a spurt of growth in the last few days.

The first Anenome of the season. This is the third spring for them

Daffodils nodding their heads in the wind

Abundant Camelias this year.
The rabbits love to eat the blossoms as they finish their bloom cycle and fall to the ground.

I have to research the name of this plant.
I went back through the archives and found this plant. ( will make a marker and place it by the plant so I will not have to guess again next year)
It is called Burgenia.

I am eagerly looking forward to the tulips opening
