Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi
May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Unexpected snowfall
I sure was surprised to see snow this morning.
There is a very cool wind blowing over the veggie garden, and even though the sun is now shining and the snow is all gone, it is too cold to spend any time in the garden.

The sun has kissed all the snow from the Hellebore.
This Hellebore has it's face turned towards the warming sun.
A spotted towhee perched on a branch of a snow covered bush.
How pretty is this old gnarled apple tree with it's covering of powdery snow.
Daffodils bowing their heads under their caps of snow.
