I have this pot of petunias sitting on top of one of the fence posts surrounding one of the gardens.

One of my favorite Hostas.

If you look carefully at the globe flower in the back, you can just make out a bee busily gathering pollen.

A pretty little patch of flowers.

I had to put the wagon behind the fence as a couple of the wild rabbits were taking an interest in the flowers.

My spinach is doing extremely well in this styrene container. I pick enough spinach every couple of days to make a small salad for myself.
You can see the drip watering system I have installed to water the containers on the deck.

There are two tomato plants in this pot and they are now taller than the wire cage, I thought was going to be too tall when I bought it. I am now glad i did get the largest wire cage to support the tomatoes.

I am happy to see the Elephant Ears have come back this year. They were left in the garden over the winter, and being close to the house probably gave them a little protection from the elements.

The pink and purple flowers are called Stock. Besides being rather lovely to look at, they have a delicate fragrance.

When I cleaned out the back of the carport, I discovered an old garden gate which has been put to a good use.

The garden gate, is now a support for this rose.

The lillies are very tall this year, and the gladioli made it through the winter as I hoped they would. I really did not want to have to dig them up and store them over winter.

I have made use of this old tree stump as a planter.

There is a little bit of color in the garden, but that will change soon, as I intend on planting some more colorful annuals in this spot.

I can hardly believe how much the Hosta has grown since I planted it two years ago.

Stock, Dahlias, Allysm and Lobelia

There is not a whole lot of color in the garden just yet, mostly all shades of green, which is very attractive.
In no time at all, the plants which were put in the gardens yesterday will be in bloom, and if, the slugs don't eat everything in sight, then there should be plenty

This Columbine is such a delicate shade of pink.

This is the front garden I will be adding to. I am happy to say the Hellebore I thought was lost this past winter, has made a strong return.

Mimulus is a dainty brightly colored plant that has come back for the second year. I do love self seeding plants.

Goodness, look how tall the Asiatic Lillies have grown this year.
There are also, Gladioli planted around and in between the lillies. What a colorful display this will be.
