I am a sucker for yard art which I usually find at yard sales. This wee spot of garden is filled with all manner of "yard art"
There is a goose, and half a broken clay pot adding a little interest.
The lovely glass bird bath Mr C gave me for Christmas, takes pride of place.
Found three flower shaped stepping stones at a yard sale, but thought them too unstable to use as such, so they are for decoration only.
And this cute hedgehog was a bargain I found at a end of year sale at one of the large chain stores. So there you have it, a little bit of my um! yard art, and there is plenty more of it scattered throughout the other garden areas.
I love your glass birdbath;-) The flower stepping stones look nice just as accents, although if you dug down slightly and placed them at ground level, perhaps you could walk on them? Such a cute hedgehog, too;-) I love yard art, as well. Each garden area just HAS to have at least one but preferably several whimsical pieces!
Oh, My favorite part of a garden.
ReplyDeleteThere must be Whimsy in all gardens!!!

I agree, there MUST be whimsy in the gardens!
ReplyDeleteI love art in the garden. It just looks better and I don't have to dust it if it's outside. (((grin)))
ReplyDeleteThat hedgehog is adorable.
p.s.
You have much better self-control than I do with chocolate.
Love the hedgehog! And the birdbath is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove your whimsy, I must put more in my yard!! Thanks for the smile =)
ReplyDeleteLove the hedgehog. Our yard sales will be starting up soon - can't wait!
