We have had a couple of days of blustery damaging winds and copious amount of rain, which has pretty much flattened most of the rest of the garden, but the sedum, and a couple of snapdragons growing against the wall, and under the eves of the carport have been somewhat protected from the onslaught, so there is a little, very little, color in a part of the garden to enjoy for a while yet.
I have some sedum growing in my garden too. They are pretty resilient plants!
ReplyDeleteWe survived too!!! We had just one night of hard wind but have had rain for 5 days!! Some of my flower beds won't need water for at least a year! :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad I have my craftroom to hide in...and I can hear the rain on the roof up there...my kind of music.
Love you, Gail
I have a lot of respect for the last few hardy blooms that brave the cold and wind. Snapdragons sure give a lot and ask for very little.
ReplyDeleteI must do better my my Autumn Joy Sedum.
ReplyDeleteI love Autumn Joy. This year for some reason they have all come up very small - usually they're about twice the height with large blooms. I don't know why!!
