Sedum is a bug magnet
The butterfly, bee and wasp were all busy sucking up nectar from the Sedum.
The days are growing shorter, there is a nip in the air, and soon there will be no more bugs hurriedly going about their business. I am not a winter person, and get a trifle depressed during the long gloomy days of winter.
That's a lot of insects on your sedum! Yes, the days are getting shorter and Winter will be here soon - I'm not really looking forward to it either!
ReplyDeleteSedum does indeed invited the bugs. Don't start worrying about the winter quite yet...just think you have the cooler months to plan great things for Spring!
ReplyDeleteWe are not ready for this change of weather.. fall seems so early. However, it looks like we are looking to a few fairly warm days at least for the next several here in the valley. Tomatoes may ripen! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou've got that right girl! I caught a picture of at least 9 honeybees on one of mine. I'm lovin' this weather--cool and rainy one day, sunny and warm the next. No boring weather here.
ReplyDeleteThese insects do look like the ones in my yard. I'm not a winter person, either, and seem to start my pity party around this time of year, knowing that it will be here before I'm ready. It seems like winter weather is coming sooner and staying later each year.
