A small posy of flowers still 'hanging in there' from my garden. I just know the first frost of the season will be here any time soon, and kill off the few flowers still blooming. So why not pick them and enjoy them.
Hi Jennifer~~ Your posy is as pretty as anything from the florist. I've been cutting flowers too especially the fragrant plants like roses and honeysuckle. It's all going to be over soon so we might as well make the most of it now. Look at your sweet peas, still! Thanks to you, I'll be growing them next year.
I see you still have some sweet peas in the garden and do I see parsley in the posy?!I gathered the seeds from my sweet peas some weeks ago and planted them so I now have some plants coming on for next year if they survive the winter in the greehouse.

ReplyDeleteGreat little bouquet. We try to bring sweet peas inside whenever possible. So nice. I hope they last a long time.

ReplyDeletewhat a lovely little bouquet. Wish i had some flowers left.
ReplyDeleteI love your bouquet! I should pick a few, too. I think we're expecting some freezing temp again soon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Jennifer! I started my second round of sweet peas a little late so they didn't bloom for me :( Enjoy your rosey posey!
ReplyDeleteThat is one way to keep them a little longer if Jack Frost is threatening you..
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty arrangement. Yes, we should enjoy them while we have them. Your Sweetpeas have really lasted a long time.
