Kia hora te manno
Kia whakapapa paumamu te moana
Kia tere te Karohirohi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like the greenstone
And may the glimmer of summer dance across your pathways

Growth in the garden on April 17th

The Primroses got too much rain and are not looking very happy

Asiatic Lillys and Gladioli are doing rather well in this sunny spot

Behind the Hosta grows a plant which has very pretty bright pink flowers. I cannot recall the name of the plant. I will look at the garden center to see if I can find one the same, so I can get the name for a plant tag.

This giant Hosta sure has put on a spurt of growth this last week. It has grown about two inches.

Ferns and Hostas in my shade garden are coming along nicely.

I love this Fern. It will have very long delicate fronds.

More Hostas and Ferns in a pot by the front door.

And Batchelor Buttons I grew from seed
